2008 COMMUNITY SUPPORT, PARTNERS and VOLUNTEERS
working with the Christmas Clearing House
- 125 Agencies, Organizations and Faith Based groups partnered with CCH to screen, register and assist families in need
- 336 families (1,225 individuals) living in the River Region were provided gift certificates through CCH to shop for their family’s Christmas gifts. Gift certificates were issued for the following stores:
- River Region Wal-Mart Stores
- Target Stores
- Winn Dixie Grocery Stores
- Publix Super Markets
- 279 families (1,005 individuals) registered in the Clearinghouse were “adopted” by individuals and groups through the Christmas Clearing House program.
- 6,455 volunteers supported the efforts of CCH and their partner organizations to assist families at Christmas.
