Blanket Drive - sponsored by Mid Alabama Coalition for the Homeless - Bring your slightly used or new blankets to the parking lot of the Courtyard this Sat., Nov. 21 from 1 - 4 p.m. The Courtyard is at 2101 Eastern Blvd., across from Wings and next to Party City and Starbucks. Anyone donating a blanket will receive a token of appreciation (as long as they last) donated by area businesses: Chick-fil-A, Rock Bottom American Pub, Ace's Bowling, Best Buy, Jason's Deli, Hooter's, Petco, Lowe's, Brusters, and Starbucks.
